Howard Ulyate of Ulyate Instruments and Ulyate Pickups has come up with a brand new line of pickups, the TicTac Pickup line.
These pickups have a larger magnet and are super punchy, warm, articulate and are incredible versatile. They will be debuting at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim California, and will be available shortly thereafter in many popular configurations.
For our testing purposes we used a passive Wilkins Road Tested PJ Bass that had a standard Ulyate PJ pickup set installed, we swapped them out for a brand new set of Ulyate TicTac PJ Pickups and we are super happy with the results.
All of the background music and bumper music is the Wilkins WRTPJ4 bass with the TicTac pickups recorded direct into an A-Designs Audio KGB-1tf and Apogee Duet and Tsunami Cables.
